In concert with MIPSO and friends
PLEASE NOTE: This performance was originally scheduled for Friday, June 14th and has moved to Thursday, June 13th.
Mipso was formed in 2012 as an excuse to play together between classes in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Thought of as an American band their attitude toward tradition could remind you of The Grateful Dead.
Their first album, “Dark Holler Pop,” produced by Andrew Marlin (Watchhouse) turned them into a full-blown touring band, honing a telepathic, sibling-esque connection onstage. “Edges Run” floated into dorm rooms and coffee shops across America, cementing Mipso as a bona fide streaming success and placing them in that rarefied strata of bands with three distinct lead singers: Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Sonic Youth, The Wailers, Phish, Mipso.
